Nevaeh's favorite moment was experiencing the magic of Wonderland while sipping tea with the Mad Hatter and Alice.
It was an experience of a lifetime for 4-year-old Nevaeh—who has already been through so much in her four short years of life, born with a congenital heart defect that has required many visits to the hospital. Nevaeh’s wish was to feel like a princess: a wish that was granted by experiencing the ultimate princess journey where the Magic Kingdom in Orlando provided the perfect fairytale setting.
For Nevaeh’s family, this was their first true "family vacation" where the four of them could just spend quality time enjoying each other. Although Nevaeh’s younger brother Owen, who also has a heart condition, hasn’t had the same journey as his older sister, he also got to share in much of the magical wish experience.
Neveah’s wish began with the essential elements of a royal experience—the princess makeover—where Nevaeh was transformed at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique with a head-to-toe makeover by her own Fairy Godmother-in-Training. Nevaeh’s mom Stacey shares with us that it was the princess tea parties where singing and dancing was highly encouraged and she was adorned with princess gifts “that really made it special.” Much like the classic song written for the original Walt Disney film Cinderella, "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes," this wish was truly meant for this princess.
