Managing Our Funds

Make-A-Wish® takes very seriously our responsibility to steward supporter contributions wisely. Our fundraising efforts, fiscal practices, and business operations all are designed to support a single purpose: to grant wishes that change lives.

Funds raised by the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of San Diego are used to fulfill the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions.

We rely on the generosity of individuals, corporations, organizations, and foundations to provide the cash and in-kind support necessary to fulfill our mission. Each and every donation we receive is deeply appreciated and makes a GREAT difference.


BBB Accredited Charity seal

We are proud that the Make-A-Wish Foundation of San Diego is an accredited charity under the BBB Wise Giving Alliances's Standards for Charity Accountability. This national charity monitoring organization is affiliated with the Better Business Bureau and confirms whether a nonprofit's practices related to governance, fund raising, solicitations and informational materials, and expenses meet their criteria for fair and honest dealings and ethical practices.
